Cha Cha Ballroom Dance:

Cha Cha is considered an interpretation dance.  This dance will be very beneficial to you because it will enable you to move the way the music motivates you to, since many of the steps are done in what is called a solo position, which means that there is no physical contact with your partner.  Then you can be doing anything the music makes you feel like doing.  This is tremendous for developing your self-confidence.

Cha Cha is a most exciting fusion of Latin Mambo and the American Swing.  The music is so exciting that it is almost impossible to sit still.  The melody is broken up with the beats.  Cha Cha is danced on the down beat (1).  It's strongly syncopated on the 4 beat (4 & 1).
